Britt’s Thoughts

Thanksgiving is a week away and I’m having a dinner party, so that means preparation is key! One of my family’s Thanksgiving must-haves, besides a turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy is a green bean casserole. It’s really easy-to-make which is crucial for the holidays, considering you’re running your kitchen like a full on restaurant. In addition to that, this recipe requires only three ingredients! Hope you enjoy this recipe as much as my family has over the years.

Prepare the ingredients

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Wash and dry the fresh produce. Cut off the ends of the green beans and discard.

Assemble the casserole

Take half the green beans and spread it evenly in the baking dish. Next, take 1 can of the Cream of Mushroom and spread it evenly on top of the green beans. Repeat step.

Bake the casserole

Bake for 45 minutes. Add the Crispy Fried Onions on top and bake for another 5 minutes.

This Green Bean Casserole is best served warm. Share with your family and friends!
